"They do this every year. And yet!" There are a few of the villagers that are more like Jerry and Jesper, but he does see the same little bits of nerves each year, as people decide who they want to look for. There is a social aspect and not all offerings end up agreed on, so rejection is possible, and with rejection comes anxiety. He could wave a hand and make everyone say yes, but that's not in any way something he'd consider.

Still though. Nerves aren't as fun as confidence to watch!

He is as colorful as a peacock himself at the moment, although his clothes have shifted several times as he decides what he prefers. Normally his attire is very casual, more so than it ever was as a mortal, but it's his party so he has to have a little flare. Jesper smiles as the butterflies land on his head and allows them to stay there like a small crown. He reaches out to snag Jerry's hand and presses a kiss to the back of it sweetly.

"By all means, if you want to stretch a little influence of your own here. I'll allow it."

As if the area needs any more upping of energy between the two of them, to be honest. Jesper exudes warmth and pleasure and Jerry with his optimism and positivity, this place will be extreme joy soon.
