Julia makes a face about that very positive belief in her, not unlike how a teenage daughter would react to a mother's reassurance, but doesn't comment because all she'll do is argue. She has a very low opinion of just about everything right now. Humanity, mostly, but herself most of all. She has managed not to go too far though. She even helped a few echoes this week and they made good choices! Which is probably why she's in a mood for carrying wildflowers to Claire and not skulking in a dark tavern.
"To be fair, you have stacked the deck in your favor. You're in a place with very polite people." It'd be more unusual if anyone was rude in the face of a flower offer. That's not the kind of community this is, which is why it suits Claire. Julia is much more inclined to run around the Feywilds where they don't actively worship the gods, since the pressure is off and they're easier to talk to.
"It's a good month. People are making better choices." It explains why she's only 75% of salt at the moment. Julia doesn't believe in optimistically expecting better, but she'll admit when things are okay. "For now."
