Far, far back, if Claire thinks hard enough, she remembers a feeling of never being settled or having a place she wanted to call her own, of wanting to have a home so lived in and warm, it drew in others. Now, and especially with the sadness shaken off after Sam, she hopes her home is exactly that, a place those see as peaceful and safe.
When Henry holds out his hand, Claire's eyes brighten gold with delight at the spider reveal, her entire aura a bit brighter for a brief, flaring moment. As it jumps, she voices her approval.
"What a beautiful new friend, I've never seen a spider with quite that marking before." She moves to her windowsill and selects a still small and in-the-pot tomato plant, setting it carefully next to the spider and assuming it will make its way.
"You keep bringing me spiders and I'll have quite the perfect eco-system. Where did you find this one?"
