[ Aegis has spent enough time with all three of these fellow gods that he is used to the way the Serenity will take on that distant look, noticeable in all three of her eyes. Or the way that she'll recite information as if she's a walking library. These are just things that she does, and there is little need to question them.

At her tease of Cassian, though, Aegis does have to make eye contact with him for a moment from across the room. ]

[ It's ancient history by now, but yes, he does recall Cassian causing quite a bit of trouble in the past, and not listening to instructions whatsoever. It's nice to know such times are behind them now.

So the dessert is not a pie, but it has been left to Cassian to prepare. These are not particularly helpful clues, if he's honest.

He nods at Azem's remark about the snacks, automatically reaching down to grab them and place them on the table for himself and Serenity to hold them over. He knows she doesn't eat much, though, so he's happy to start them off, taking a bite of a dip-coated chip. He eyes her starry form across the table, then nods in Cassian's direction. ]
