"If there wasn't still good and kindness in the world, I would be attempting to burn it all down. It wouldn't deserve to keep turning." Maybe a little edgelord of her but it's more that she's saying she knows there is more good here than bad. It is a good enough mix that the planet spins and everyone exists and she hasn't gone full villain yet. Nor has she run away and hid like her divine mother, who she doesn't remember the name of, but that abandonment stays with her. They can't up and leave this place.

"I'm just like ... you know who we are, right? It's not as if we're secretive." Some of the gods might be, but Claire and Julia have deliberate dominions, they aren't a mystery. "The rules of dealing with me are simple. You ask to look ahead to your future and see the best path, I give them several paths, one of them is a trick meant to weed out selfishness. And then they still pick wrong." It's so bizarre, because the trick is there, yes, and she put it there on purpose to be appealing and distracting. But they know it could happen.

She sighs and runs hands through her hair. "People are so frustrating. Sometimes I think it'd be better to just live with the Fey and forget about it." Except she doesn't do that despite saying so for centuries.
