[Nikodaemus hums. Anthropos murmurs. Two low sounds that share opposite sides of the same coin. It is liberating to discuss knowledge without the limitations of morality; enforced by people righteous in their ego.

He clasps his hands behind his back. Why this cycle of behaviour restarts is a mystery. Is it inherent to the human condition? A method of coping with life?]


I can understand it proves disappointing when data reveals nothing but the same. But there is as much opportunity for exploration in what such results yield as what they do not.

[He tilts his head and looks out the corner of his eye.]

And humanity is fond of patterns and symbols. They create them to explore the unknown, to develop their understanding, and repeat their image down the generations.

[Now he hums.]

Even the arcanum are symbols of a kind.
