"They know who I am, sweetheart. And you know they never mind." Jesper could only be in an eternal partnership with people who understand him. They love him for exactly who he is, and that includes him loving many others. He's settled into his life as a god who brings that to everyone else too. It's always suited him. Jesper will be passed around at his festival and that's what he wants.

"I missed you too, sweetheart." He keeps him in his arms and runs fingers through his hair soothingly. Jesper can tell there is something weighing on him. He can always tell. Mara struggles more than most, it is simply his way, and his dominion feeds into that. He knows what Mara needs the most from him, but he thinks that includes getting some of what is bothering him off his chest.

They are in private at the moment since no one else is in the Witchwoods, and any humans would be unable to see them. They would sense any god coming, and there is none anywhere nearby. Jesper pulls back to look at him, caressing his face.

"Your place is with me. Any time you need it." He radiates a type of calm and love, comforting simply by existing in Mara's space. But he can feel something troubling Mara. It weighs him down. "What troubles your heart, my love? I can feel it heavy."
