[Diana leans against the railing, scanning out over the Horizon as she waits for him to respond. Starlight sparkles in her eyes and in her hair, a byproduct of Abraxan magic mixing with her own. She likes being here, sometimes likes being here more than in the waking world. It's a dangerous line to walk, and one she's put a lot of thought into not crossing. Losing herself here would be too easy--but she reminds herself that she is needed elsewhere, always needed, and that is more than enough reason to return to the mortal world when her business in the Horizon is concluded.

She makes a quiet, noncommittal humming noise at his answer. It is what she expected, though she had hoped for more. Still, she is not deterred.]

[She wants him to feel something, to reach inside and find that shred of him that holds his humanity; Diana doesn't believe that it's gone, never has and never will. It isn't in her nature to accept the worse outcome without a fight.]
