[ The funny thing is that the throne came about as a joke. Unfortunately, it’s become a joke that has long since lost its context because Eddie doesn’t really remember the Hawkins High drama room anymore, or drinking Mountain Dew out of plastic goblets, or the faces that surrounded him as they battled imaginary dragons.

But he still doesn’t view it as a serious thing. He’s not looking to wear any crowns or rule any lands, he’s just wanting to look cool and fancy and a little ridiculous when people come to visit him. He knows it unsettles Jon a little bit, but to him, it’s just a fancy chair. It doesn’t mean anything. ]
