Kaz realizes it's a step he should have took sooner. It wasn't that he didn't want more, actually craved it, but that he's enjoyed all the teasing words and playfulness between them and not wanting to lose that.

Except he doubts he will. It's in the nature of one of them, and the most desired traits Kaz seeks in another.

A shame it didn't work for every deal, because sealing those words with that kiss left him aching as if electricity charged through his body and he can't help but groan into the kiss. Already thinking about other things that did keep in theme for the festival, even as he feels that swat, the words somehow managing to penetrate his mind when he's most certainly thinking about something else now.

"If we're late because I drag you somewhere and thoroughly though quickly debauch you, it would be utterly in keeping with the theme of tonight's events, thank you," he says, though he slides his hand along Sylvain's arm, pressing in teasingly against him. "I'm sure Jesper would forgive us, but perhaps that's for later then."
