It is incredibly easy to get lost in the library. Psychically, someone can lead themselves to the places they want to be, but they need to know how to do that. Otherwise it could be endless shelves and rooms, and they're all beautiful and interesting, so probably distracting.

Istredd is not hiding, he doesn't know why he would be hiding, although Shepard shouting his name from somewhere in the distance does seem to be a reason for him to. His eyebrows furrow and he shifts the library around them so that when she stomps her way from one room to the next, she finds herself immediately into the same room as him. This is his space, he could make her get lost too, if he wanted to.

His skin is pure black currently with consellations and stars playing across it, although his features are still very distinct, and his eyes glow blue. He's in the blackboard room, where the entire thing is made of blackboards with different things written on it, in multiple languages. He looks genuinely confused when she steps in.
