There is a hint of relief that comes with hearing that Istredd has taken care of his own missteps this time, and yet Aegis is so used to stepping in that he's also left with this odd feeling of absence as he realizes that there isn't anything for him to do.
Granted, he knows that is his own short-coming. He always needs to be doing something. The truth is that this is the better outcome and he certainly doesn't regret coming to check in on Istredd all the same.

At Istredd's question, Aegis huffs out a nearly soundless laugh and shrugs, his wings shifting with the movement. "Well enough. Azem has been dragging me all about the realm, as she is wont to do. She wants to make a trip to the Serpent's Sea, so I think we'll be setting out that way before long."
