A dangerous invitation to offer, certainly; Sidus is about to break into one of many possible grand tales created in the same instant the words would have left his mouth as all those details. Claire's spared that since he decides to wait and that (miniscule display of) patience is rewarded by what she says.

"Sounds a little like the way those grand romances mortals come up with begin, you know," he teases while leaning to bump his shoulder back into hers in return. The smile on his face grows to a grin along with it since that's only meant fondly - even if he stands by that assessment just a little bit. "I look forward to it appearing in a novel very soon. But I think you're overlooking the reason he's coming here, if he's continued with that..."

That's a thought he'll let trail off in more affectionate banter, but: it also works well for that ending thought Claire's left off with when paired with the flushed cheeks from before. It deserves less joking and more consideration, and for a second or two Sidus turns his attention back to the butterflies looping around the water. "Sometimes you have to give someone a little shove into romance. Not that I'd know anything about that," added purely for her entertainment as he cuts his gaze to her briefly with a smirk that says even over the centuries he's not forgotten where he'd needed the same, "especially if things have been the same for a while, even if it's a good same."
