In the end, their boons and gifts to the mortals were left in their own hands. If they found balance as well, it could easily guide them to success and a bright future. Sadly greed often clouded a man's judgement and removed his focus. Kaz truly couldn't stand that. He might be greedy at times, but never enough to let it cloud his judgement.
