The smirk on Sidus' face only grows wider at that sigh, if only because it's so relatable as well. Right down to the woe (or what's sort of woe) over mortals thinking they could ever have the upper hand against whatever it is they have in mind. A way of thinking not all gods share, he's come to learn over these long years, which makes it all the more a thing to appreciate when it's found in someone else.
"Why promise anything except whatever it is we intend? Even better if it's wrapped up into what we understand it to be but leaves it a little ambiguous everywhere else." Or he's possibly telling on his own method of dealing with a devious follower who rather mistakenly believes they deserve what it is they're asking for and not in a way Sidus might normally applaud under any other circumstances. He does enjoy a little bit of trickery - just not when someone thinks they can best him in it.
"Anyway, I can promise it works for all kinds of smaller and far more playful things like if you'd simply rather it look like something was decided by fate with a friend or a lover. Not that I've ever done the latter, mind you." It's with a sharp and mostly genuine grin that Sidus picks his drink up again for another sip. "And far be it from me to stand in the way of the justice someone deserves, either. As fun as a coin flip can be, sometimes it's far better to let things play out as they were meant to before any intervention."
