We'll agree to disagree.

[ That's the only way that they both know how to cope it seems: making light of something that is objectively horrible. Maybe that's why - even if he's lost in the throes of emotion and insanity - he's always subconsciously dusted away from the eyes of those that mean the most to him.

Could that same sort of humour be applied here? No, he thinks. This is something that can't be taken lightly because all of this is a lie.

He watches her from the corner of his eye hoping for any flicker of recognition only to find nothing. Purposefully their path takes them past a bakery, one that she had loved despite a pretense that a god was above that sort of earthly delight. That never stopped him from bringing her back fresh strawberry pastries and rolls however. It had even gotten to the point where some of she and Percy's children had taken after their mother's tastes. ]
