I think "centuries" is a little broad. [But maybe that's the part of him that still feels mortal, even after all this time. Perhaps it's the fact that Koby was so spectacularly, incredibly ordinary in his life before, but the transformation to whatever they are -- deities, gods, beings of pure power and energy, whatever -- has never felt fully...real. There's always a part of him that wonders: they'd been made what they are. Could they be unmade?

But that isn't the topic of conversation -- Ed's play is, apparently. The play he's staging in a few more weeks. Koby laughs, a little surprised, oddly flattered.] You'd want me to come see? I don't know if I'd be a good critic, I don't know much about...acting or art or...anything like that.
