Regardless, the exhaustion from their fight surprises him. He'd been too swept up in his renewed grace and whatever else was going on with them that he wasn't prepared for her explosive arrival.

What uncoils in the Nether, draconic enough to match their surroundings but so very other--unique--is a form only familiar to family, and to Istredd. Though what Istredd had seen between their minds was just a blip, and even that radiance was nearly enough alone to fry Istredd's mind. The stretch of arms and legs and so many wings is a sight that Istredd can now safely behold, his form continuing to grow until it's taking up quite a long swathe of stone, Lucifer's intense pleasure overwhelming. It's as though he's a snake that's shed its skin, the scales fresh. The heat from the volcano is wonderful, and he lounges, unwilling to move, truly satiated for the first time since Istredd's known him.
