In about half those AUs God-Chuck made, either Sam or Dean or both wound up going to Hell. Considering they weren't populated with a hundred thousand different variations of themselves, it's safe to say each one's unique.
And then, of course, there are the other non-Sam-and-Dean worlds with their own Hells. The Nine Hells for those Game of Thrones folks, Hades for some of these Greek folks. Really, the afterlife variety's just as extensive as the regular-life variety. )
