[ Istredd knew going down there what would happen with his magic but it doesn't make it easy or comfortable. The disconnect from Lucifer is the worst part for him. It feels like this emptiness on a few levels, but if Dion wasn't ready for it, it must be particularly intense to feel that nothingness at hand.
He sighs and shakes his head at Dion. He understands the impulse that brought him here and the need to protect others, but they are not the ones directly in the way of conflict. If anything they are probably safer down here than whatever is going on. ]
