"Thank you. Besides, I know I don't have to play coy with you to get you to help with something. That being said, we're coming back here eventually, when we don't have an actual goal to accomplish." She has enough for now to be satisfied.

She watches the chirp exchange go down; that was absolutely a go-ahead because she'd rather get it all done, especially now that she has mushrooms to play with. She doesn't mind helping, but she likes it better when things are cut and dry. "I suppose we'll find out, and if it's a berry tree, well, there's something else for me to forage." Claire begins walking again, falling into step and then glancing up at him.

"Wrench used to enjoy coming out with me. Actually, I stumbled upon him more than once, foraging on his own." She pauses, letting out a breath. "He'd been living in my shed after I turned it into a proper little guest space. A bed and a little kitchenette. It's where I was keeping the hives at first, when there was inclement weather, but...well."

The bees are dead and gone for now, though there are plans in the works for magic to help replace what she lost, but that's still far in the future.

"Now that space is empty. I miss having a friend so close." She doesn't mean for it to be such a heavy-handed hint that she'd like Michael to move closer, in fact, she plans to aks plainly. But she does miss Wrench, and so she gives that statement a bit of room to breathe as they walk. She does notice the foliage seems to be getting thicker and greener, the trees more robust.
