Kyle's plate arrives with a very ordinary steak, eggs and toast, followed by an almost silly amount of desserts meant to share, including candied flowers with petals that still faintly glow.
Although after plucking one from the plate and eating it, he realizes what he thought was candied was actually wax. Barely missing a beat he swallows it, too embarrassed to spit it out into one of the cloth napkins. ]
