"Keeping your own company isn't a bad thing," Sansa says. "My brother isn't overly fond of being social himself and he does just fine for the most part. Not everyone is built for it or wants it for themselves."

Sansa's social graces have saved her life on more than one occasion so she keeps her courtesies and uses them as her armor but she knows that when she was a girl, before King's Landing and all of it, she didn't understand when Jon would go off and sulk. She understands it now. You protect yourself in different ways. Even as a captive, she sometimes found solace in solitude.

"It just means you happen to like yourself, I think. It can be exhausting to put on a show for others."
