[ steve has always liked nocwich - something about how new it felt, how they were only allowed to go once a month, something about how tangible the fact it is literally vampires and werewolves walking around... it made more sense to steve, somehow. like oleuni square was what he actually, kinda, pictured when he thought about how weird and magical this whole experience was supposed to be.
plus - stepping into it now - felt like he could finally get some distance. from solvunn, from the stench of that underground alter, from everything that Steve feels like he hasn't actually processed. nocwich feels like an escape, and when Steve steps through that portal and his boots hit the gravel and dirt, he feels a little like he can exhale.
he can be found pretty easily wandering through the square. he doesn't have a lot of coin on him, so most of his time is spent window shopping, curious about all the different items for purchase even though he's seen them before. he'll end up in front of the stage for a show or two, content to just kind of wander, to waste time. you might find him in front of one of the tattoo shops, looking curiously at the images and options, but he won't ever end up inside. he gets a couple of beers at one point too, needing something that isn't cider.
really, Steve's not hard to approach. if he sees you first he might even call out. he's not overly energetic, but he's a friendly enough person, and won't turn anyone away who approaches him.
if he's not wandering the square, you might also find Steve out near the hunting woods. if you catch him before he sees you, there's also a chance you might see him fiddling with what appears to be a chain with a few new, large silver rings. when he sees you, he will probably tuck the rings under his shirt before he gives you a smile. ]
