[Nocwich is still very new to Teddy, but there is something about it that they find themself counting down to like a kid at Christmas or their birthday as it comes around again. They're not sure which part draws them most. The opportunity to see people from other countries that they'd otherwise only see in the Horizon, maybe; the twilight, undisguised paranormality of it, different from the way Abraxas is just full of magic things (werewolves and vampires!); the way it feels like a slice of city compared to Solvunn -- probably not to anyone from a big city, but enough of one to Teddy to satisfy the part of them that likes that and the things that come with it.
There's just a sort of special feeling about Nocwich. Maybe a little bit dangerous, too. But Christ, it's not like just living here isn't. (It's not like just living isn't.)
This time, on Eddie's recommendation, they've brought a sweet little guitar they've acquired for helping rescue the luthier's vegetables; busking's probably not going to net them enough to get any of the ink they're thinking about, but they can save up. Teddy swings by the tattoo shop anyway, drawn like a magnet, guitar in its soft leather case slung across their back.
When they see Steve peering in, they brighten immediately, strolling up next to him to join in the kid-and-candy-shop peering.]
