[ The summer rain and permanent night of Nocwich has not done wonders for the faint ache in his leg. Admittedly, his time with John in the inn may also have something to do with it, but he would consider that a worthwhile trade-off.

Regardless, when he and John part for a brief time, he seeks out the springs. He finds a quiet spot away from others, sets his clothes to the side, and sinks into the steaming waters with a sigh. His contentment lasts for a decent twenty, thirty minutes, before he sees Istredd's cursive shimmer along the rocky ledge.

Geralt peers at it, considering. Hm. He was made aware Istredd was freed from Thorne's dungeons, and that nothing exciting occurred while he was held. Beyond the attack on the castle, of course. With Istredd confirmed alive and one piece, Geralt hasn't felt a need to look in on the man with any haste. But since the mage is here and he supposes they have matters to discuss...why the fuck not. He replies with his location and leaves it at that. If Istredd wants to meet elsewhere, he can suggest so, though the tone of Geralt's message doesn't leave much room for argument—not by design but simply how he is. A plain, You can find me at the springs.

Then he leans his head back and waits. Istredd may show or he may not. ]
