"I don't know who you're talking about, my friend Dean Winchester is very smart." Julia would say smarts don't matter that much with magic, but it's untrue when it comes to hers. There's a reason there is an entire graduate school dedicated to learning the arts, and every person there is on their own level of intelligence. But that's in a world where magic is harder to access, it requires a lot more focus and power to pull out even the smallest of spells correctly.

The magic in Abraxas is insanely overpowered. Julia just came from a place where magic was completely sapped away from her world, at least for humans to have access to. Only a small collection of people can use it, but here, everyone can use it. It's overflowing in the air around them, in the power within their veins. She might want to go home, but she wouldn't deny that she loves having so much of it at his fingertips.

"A lot of our magic requires hand gestures so let me see what you're working with." She wiggles her fingers at him playfully but reaches out to take his hand. It doesn't actually matter if they're long or short or whatever, they only need to be nimble and workable. Julia figures that he uses his enough in his every day work he has to have strong ones.

"Let's go with good old fashioned telekinesis first, okay? I found it very useful for getting the books I wanted or the remote. If you used any magic here or got some of your own from the Singularity, you should know how to call on the energy, so it'll be an easy learn." Julia's found that there is a natural pull of magic around them and using it even in casual ways makes using it again easier.

"So basically the idea is that you're grabbing onto it like you would with your hand, only for larger things you expand the reach." Her hand reaches out toward the books and she flicks her fingers and a book snaps to it with no trouble.
