Jesper sees their god future as the best possible future, so much like Kaz, he thinks of it fondly. A direction for them to strive for, a possible road that would make them both happy. Kaz has done a lot to push himself forward over the years, but what the two of them understand better than most is it's easy to backslide, with the right pressure.

When this last happened, Kaz wasn't ready yet to give Jesper the sort of comfort he needed. His badly attempted seduction was so early on between them. Now Jesper can seek out reassurance in his arms, which Kaz gives him immediately. He curls up against Kaz and sighs, instantly feeling better. Trapped in a cocoon of his warmth and love. He cuddles in closer, pressing their foreheads together. They haven't gotten to full skin contact yet, but this is within boundaries.

"I felt them. Someone was fighting so I stopped them, I felt something weird happen, they immediately stopped, but then I felt the same influence on me. The impulsivity and dark thoughts."

Jesper is weaker to that than most. It's why he gave in so easily then.
