All Mat needs is the message, and he drops what he's doing. He heads right to his room, to slip into that state that lets them all travel between this world and their own. If Jesper needs him, then that's all that matters in the moment. Everything else can wait.

He meets him shortly after, not bothering to put in the effort to make himself look more rested and whatnot than he is. Things are miserable right now, they're all exhausted and struggling.

"I'm here, love."

He's able to muster a smile for Jesper, at least. A real one. Light, the other fellow looks even worse than him.
