It's starting to feel more and more like Jesper has a trick for everything in this situation, like he's a walking Swiss army knife. Steve isn't going to question it, but if he'd had any sort of hesitation about bringing Jesper along, mainly inspired by the fact that Sam had some uncertainty about it, that's all been set aside by now.

Maybe Jesper is on the younger side, but that doesn't mean he isn't capable, and it's not like they haven't recruited kids into the Avengers before. Peter being chief among them, although that definitely hadn't been Steve's call, but Wanda had been pretty young when they brought her in. The point being that Steve doesn't fuss too much over someone's age if the person in question is clearly capable, and Jesper has proved that a number of times already.

They'll probably need to gag the guy that he already took down when they get the chance, but for now they need to deal with the guards ahead of them, and Jesper's already hatched a plan.

Then it's go time and Steve immediately springs into action on Jesper's say-so, racing forward down the hall toward the three guards who get smacked right in the face with strips of metal, silencing them. He jumps toward the railing and braces his boot against it, pushing off to launch himself into the air so that he's able to come down on the first guard with a knee to the face, landing on him with all his weight and knocking him out instantly. As soon as he lands he throws his shield, bouncing it off the wall with a burst of telekinetic magic so they don't expect where it's coming from. It hits one guard in the chest, causing them to stumble back into the third, and Steve races up to finish them off with some super-strength level punches.

Once all three are down for the count, he grabs for his shield and then turns back to Jesper.

"Nice work. Can you do the same thing with the metal to that first guy? Then we can figure out what to do here." He nods toward the door he's standing next to, which leads into a room with a large control panel.
