He enters the room where there's a large control panel filled with buttons and switches and levers. There's probably a manual somewhere that would explain everything, but it's not like there's time for that.
"... Gonna just have to push things until something happens." And since they're trying to blow the place up, what's the worst that could happen?
Thankfully, it's nothing that dramatic. The first few buttons seemingly do nothing, but then Steve pulls down on a lever that triggers the nearby hum and vibration of machinery coming to life, seemingly in the room adjacent to them.
