"Can I help it if you giving emotional support is really, really hot?" Jesper laughs as he is swept right off his feet and into Sylvain's gigantic arms. They're very comfortable and safe. He doesn't stop the kisses just because he's being carried, he peppers Sylvain's face with them as they walk, tangling his fingers into his bright red hair.

"You're my favorite distraction." This is twice that Sylvain's saved him, temporarily, from his own demons. It won't make everything perfectly better, but it will give him some shielding from the worst of it. "It's practically our anniversary if you think about it." Not based on the date that it happened, but rather on the thing that inspired it! He can find the bright side of anything.
