Is Iris lucky? Well, that's all "eye of the beholder" business, isn't it? After all, being suddenly surrounded by two very attractive gentlemen after only just witnessing their display of strength with and against each other is the sort of premise one might find in certain forms of media that could possibly rhyme with forlornography, and thus perhaps a very felicitas thing indeed.

Or you could be Iris, suddenly realizing you didn't have the forethought to close a sketchbook full of very damning evidence of exactly where (or whom, and what parts of whom) your attention had been all this time.

So, you know. A toss up.

"—No!"

To both questions, actually, but especially the second one. The unfortunate timing of jerking away to avoid Kyle's advance coming from one side means he practically shoves himself against Wilhelm's chest when the other one rounds his other side, and the very fortunate thing is by then Iris had already pressed his sketchbook close to his chest so there's no way if seeing anything. But then the very unfortunate thing is now his back is damp with sweaty boy sweat and also he has tangible proof of just how sturdy Wilhelm's body actually is. (Kill him.)

He clears his throat, swivelling on a heel to throw some distance between him and the two nosiest people he's ever met in his life!!!!1

"It's not finished." They're model sketches? "The lighting here is bad." It's literally daylight. "My hand cramped." He's never drawn a bad thing in his life. "I have a process." Right now, that process includes crawling into the center of the earth.

Iris throws a look towards Kyle, who is both the only lifeline he has right now by virtue of not being Wilhelm, but who Iris also does not entirely trust wouldn't sell him for a cornchip if it meant having to choose between him and his mentee. Which — fair, tbh.

He'll try at a diversion anyway.

"So! How'd you learn how to fight?"
