I didn't have any abilities or magic in my own world, so I don't know exactly how it works, only that others have said it happened to them for about a week. I suspect it's because the Singularity is providing the powers people have now, not whatever it might have been before arrival.

At least, that's what I've gleaned in my time here. My connection came over time, as I grew stronger.

This is white willow, turmeric, and St John's Wort. I brew it into a black tea with a bit of honey. It's not as strong as Tylenol, but it will take the edge off. I have a strain of marijuana higher in CBD that might help, but not everyone enjoys those side effects.
