( it's encouraging to think how much others have grown strong in their use of magic, be it what they have learnt here or what the singularity has granted them, or maybe even both. it's encouraging, at least to wanda, because she has always felt like the odd one out, uncertain and different and weird.
this much allows for community (a coven, even, one might say), and there is no one that makes wanda feel more at ease than claire, with her motherly comfort and knowledge of things wanda may once have taken for granted.
she follows along, rubbing her hands together to warm them a bit, and looking about at the lovely garden that maintains itself despite the approaching winter. )
I'd imagine bees are already resilient in their own right, and maybe an expert would know better than the two of us combined... ( but they cannot ignore the influence of the singularity and their own presence within this world affecting nature. ) Protection spells, though... might require a little less complex magic and more of the basics. Sigils, runes, intention. I learned some of that back home, but I've never really had the opportunity to try it properly, not on creatures like bees, anyway.

( she smiles lightly. )
I'm sure we can figure it out, though.
