Where hands failed, the weird new Arcana Blade (TM) seems to do much better. It's still difficult work. The ropes, the tape, the bindings, whatever they are, they're fibrous. Almost fleshy. Thankfully, they don't bleed or anything weird like that.
One of them snaps. And his head is able to turn. He's able to see more than just the burning smear of home. It's then the full scope of the fight around them is revealed. All around, other soldiers, all shapes and colors of armor, are waging battles against ugly, warped creatures - some humanoid. Some not. Neither side seems to be winning, but at least the soldiers seem to be holding their ground.
