[Monster isn't entirely the wrong word. The average angel has more in common with them than they do humanity. Michael would be offended if he knew she's taking him for just a monster however. There's a vast gap between what they are and what he is, in his mind.

The sensation of being held in place gets his attention where her words didn't. He only ate a small piece of God. He's not sure that's enough to kill Him, or even slow Him down long. Chuck might pop up behind them at any moment, full of renewed wrath for this disrespect. Michael really doesn't want to be stuck here to find out one way or the other.

She might have held Lucifer for a while. She might hold Michael, too, but he's older, stronger, and undiminished.

He hisses an angry reply—right, can't talk with this face—then closes his mouth and lets his human features fall back into place. There's enough give to the spell that he's able to turn his head and look at her, a brief angry flash of blue in his eyes.]

He deserved it!

[It doesn't occur to him that she fears he might do the same to her. Michael doesn't even like eating. So, he assumes she must object to his approach. Hardly anyone from his world who'd recognize Chuck would object to seeing him taken down, but he's met enough Catholics here. One of them was bound to jump to God's defence.]
