Upon the surface are a glass decanter and a set of highball glasses. Together with his collection of Grey Goose, Jack Daniels and Dry Rye Gin. All of which are real inside this imaginary world.
People have entertained drinking in this office before. James is hardly the first. Nor will he ever be the last.
