I have been told I can be a confusing man. I'd like to think it keeps life less boring.

{ which is growth for louis on the low, considering he'd thought living was boring which wasn't the best mindset to have. there's still a sadness underneath that could be picked up, but there's also something else that hadn't been there before — hope for a better tomorrow. he won't dwell on it and is thankful for the easy way he can move along as they converse. he'd once been a city man in a world that moved around him so he can appreciate a solid stride. louis meets alucard's pace when he turns to walk beside him, and considers it a quiet invite to follow. }

I can respect that. If only it were simple. In my world we'd call you 'mixed'. Don't make it less prejudice for either side. I do admit I envy that you are able to still taste food, if I recall. { it's harmless, promise. he keeps mostly modest as he answers his part, } Here's where I may be more confusing. I allowed someone to publish the story of my life on how I came into my Dark Gift. It's a bestseller book back home. Humans think it's a piece of written fiction. Meanwhile, the vampires of my world have given their feedback. They're not happy about it.
