Claude's attempting to look serious (or just like the suggestion of wanting to be is somewhere on his face) but that eyebrow raise of Steve's gets one corner of his mouth to twitch in amusement which isn't at all disguised. ]

Fortunately for Claude (and unfortunately for Steve having had to listen), the chattering on has worked out well in terms of timing. Hilda's close enough now that it'll just be a couple more steps until she'll be here if she doesn't speak up first.
