He laughs, silent. Yes. There would be. But, he won't turn down a reason to spend more time with John. Besides, even if he isn't particularly good at the game, he's found he needs more and more things to do for a life that was once...not so idle as it's become. Which is a strange thing to say, but he used to wander, and with wandering came the endless routine of keeping himself alive: gathering for elixirs, brewing the elixirs, gathering firewood, making the fire. Searching for the nearest body of water. Hunting dinner or finding a tavern that might let a Witcher linger for a drink for a while.

Now those things are simply available. The markets are close by, their house is always warm. Two or three weeks in the desert is nowhere near the long months he used to journey. He doesn't mind the feeling of having settled, exactly, but it does leave him with more time on this hands than he can ever remember having.

Hence all of his woodworking. But he's running out of furniture that the house needs and he can only give away so many carvings.

His attention shifts back to John. "Do you?" Of course John would. He leans forward, already interested. If he knows anything about John—and lately, he's come to know John quite a lot—the man must've spent weeks searching for something. "Let's see it, then."
