[Chris is also likely to be a common figure in the library. While he was familiar with his family's Book of Shadows and knew a few spells from his ex-fiancee's Grimoire, there was one type of spell or potion that always evaded the Halliwell and Warren line of witches. Protection magic. Whether it didn't exist in his world or the Warren line was simply cursed was anyone's guess--but almost every Warren witch had tried to work with protection magic, and for the most part, it usually failed. His grandmother had been the closest to figuring it out. Right before she died of a heart attack.

So Chris had some books open to different kind of magical shields, protection potions or sigils, anything that might help. He had a finger flipping through and reading pages with one hand, and was taking notes with the other.

Unable to help himself, and because he was kind of a sassy bitch with a inferiority complex the size of Texas, he laughed when Rowena conjured a small orb of light. And then conjured his own, and dismissed it.]

Yeah, it's real useful. For nothing. Maybe distracting small children.
