arrival!

[ His first thought when he steps out into the forest that absolutely isn't his domain which he could've sworn he'd been standing in until blinking again. It also doesn't seem particularly hospitable upon the brief look Claude takes around to get oriented upon quickly realizing this isn't anywhere he's seen before. Disconcerting, to say the least, and he goes through the same quick checks of making sure he's awake (he is) and unharmed (as far as he can tell). Drawing his bow from his back and an arrow to notch on it in a half-ready stance is an automatic response while he scans the ground and takes cautious steps forward as silently as he can manage.

The trees block much of anything at a distance but certainly provide good cover as he goes, pausing behind the trunk of one now and again to survey the darkness like it'll reveal any clues. It doesn't, so time to keep moving until he picks up the sound of something or someone approaching and tightens his grip on his bow before stepping out from his brief cover to find he is, in fact, not alone.

Even Claude notices when a little bit of tension goes out of his shoulders upon realizing he recognizes who he's stumbled across: Thancred, who's proven himself rather capable in Nocwich's hunting grounds. At the same time he lowers his bow since there might be threats around them in the trees, but now there'll be two of them watching for them. ]

You've got it. Just glad we're not underground this time.

[ In terms of waking up somewhere unknown, anyway. That's whispered right back as Claude casts yet another glance around them, but yet again nothing much is revealed so he looks back to Thancred. ]

Have you found anyone else yet?

[ Is it just the two of them out here? ]
