[Viktor knows what to expect. When he heals someone, he sees the whole of a person. Even if those few months at home were imagined, he spent that time wandering in and out of the thoughts and hopes and dreams of so many people, and he knows what it's like, to reach inside the deepest recesses of a someone and see their heart. The frantic, haphazard nature of this particular healing means that he doesn't comb through everything, rather, remains at the mercy of what comes to him, while he channels the arcane through them both.
It comes in disorienting flashes, and it takes a moment for Viktor to realize what he's seeing--two sets of memories, and the moment where one person split. He reels as Kyle tries to enter the White Space, fighting through the pain and disorientation of the memory. Viktor finds himself wanting to heal that, too, though the real wound takes priority, the rest of it slipping through his fingers.
