[ Eddie has never really tried all that hard to hide his fear and anxiety. He makes jokes, but that’s really more of a coping mechanism for himself. If he can put some humor int he situation, he won’t fully break. If he doesn’t fully break, maybe he can get through it. It’s worked for him in the past, and he’s just hoping a pinch of grim humor will serve him well again.
