The last time he'd said fuck it and hitched a wagon to do so, the bumpy ride left him sore for a full day. Not an experience he wants to be repeating.
He's largely stayed at Sam's, for the quiet and space it affords. His return to the home he normally share with Jaskier and Ciri (and now Rinwell) is often brief: to collect a change of clothes, some pieces of equipment, a book or two so he can pass the time.
