Geralt offers one of the newly shaped pierogis to the wolf for its troubles, which it devours with a wag of its tail. Geralt would swear it didn't used to wag its tail, but apparently now it does. The wolf is rapidly becoming a house pet. Perhaps it's only fitting. (He's becoming attached to places, people, he had not meant to, either.)
