[After a moment's contemplation, Nadine takes the offered arm. Why not? He'd shown up and sang on her lawn. And besides, there's something enticing about strolling arm in arm along the snowy street with a handsome man.]

Oh, I had Christmas carols on. It's a winter holiday in my world...that's what all the lights are for.

[She waves her free hand at the strung lights up and down the street leading into 'town'. Instead of following it that way, she steers them away from town, to the rolling farmlands and the woods.]

It's half religious and half not. But there are some beautiful songs written for it. I like the old traditional ones. The Holly and the Ivy, In the Bleak Midwinter, Emmanuel...

[The ones from olden times, that had weight and meaning to them. And considering what Jaskier had serenaded her with, he might appreciate them. 'Modern' music must sound so strange to him...]

It meant a lot to me, when I was little.
