[ Dean may have moved on, but Geralt remains considering, though it's hard to tell from how he's already returned to his half-eaten stew like Dean isn't still sitting there across from him making some nonsense remark about castles. There are things left unsaid, which guarantees that Geralt has started to quietly pull together what those things are: namely, that Dean has a (friend?) he's protective over, a friend that must not be human or at least viewed dangerous in some way, if he's already so concerned Geralt will stab him from the outset. That's an interesting friend for a hunter to have, one that he almost doesn't expect—not by virtue of Dean being a hunter, but that he's a human one. Men do not often care for those they deem different. But there are always exceptions.

None of this is his business, though—yet—and he'd rather it stay that way. Whatever conclusions Geralt's drawn, whatever questions he's formed as a result, he keeps them to himself.

Not until he hears psychic dimension does he look back up. Mm. That. ]
The Horizon. [ If all Dean's heard is that it's a paradise, Geralt is here to provide a less vibrant endorsement. ] It's an ethereal plane linked to the Singularity. You can...shape what you like in it. Only those displaced from other spheres appear capable of accessing it, though we weren't all tethered willingly. [ He had not asked to be dragged to that crater by Thorne's mages and sucked into it, but when does anyone ever ask him shit? ] Once you're tethered, there's no telling what can happen should the connection sever or the Singularity's power falters. The risk is yours to take.
