[ OPEN ] let there be light.

WHO: tony & whoever is in solvunn!
WHAT: tony is working on installing electricity in the main library. come bother him. or give him reading suggestions.
WHEN: throughout the month of february! feel free to stop in at any part of the process.
WHERE: the library.

(A) material lugging
[ you may find tony to and fro his immpromptu workshop apartment carrying boxes of stuff to the library. these boxes contain everything from wires, charged batteries, and odd lengths of piping. and when asked, he responds: ]

Carrying is more useful than staring. And most questions.

[ and so he unceremoniously drops a box in your arms before jogging back to a stack of nearby boxes, to collect one himself. ]

Keep walking, we're heading to the library, I'll explain on the way -- or not, depends on if you care.
(B) installations.
[ or, you may find tony in the midst of his work. he may be sitting at a table, tinkering with a string of batteries. or, you may find him halfway into a wall, wiring together an electrical system. or, more likely than not, you may find him with a very exasperated librarian, in which he is saying: ]

I have permission to take apart walls, lady, and you can't really do that quietly. Construction didn't get quieter in the next thousand years or however far in the future. Or -- whatever.

[ as he gestures around him. ]

It'll make sense once I'm done with it, but you're going to need to get out of my way, first.
(C) light!
[ or, you may find tony in a rare moment of quiet, with a flickering lightbulb on a table, connected to a homemade battery. tony seems to be tinkering with something else while his creation sits, carefully pulling apart wires, expression fixated.

if you come near, or even sit in his general vicinity, he will not notice you. might have to interrupt him while he's fixated and . . . talking to himself? ]

No, I need another magnet . . . I need wire strippers, when were those invented, again? -- or a mig welder, that would be helpful, but no, I have to be stranded in farmville . . .

[ it'll go for awhile. ]
